The spirit of Ubuntu was alive and well in Eersterust today as residents came together to support the Dynamic Life Changers Foundation (DLCF) during its Mandela Day General Donations Clothing Drive.
Held at 61 Tigris Avenue, the initiative formed part of the annual 67 Minutes for Mandela Day campaign, encouraging individuals to dedicate their time and resources towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Community members generously donated clothing, shoes, baby wear, curtains and other essential household items, demonstrating that even the smallest act of kindness can have a lasting impact on families facing difficult circumstances.
The event served as a reminder that Mandela Day is more than a once-off celebration—it is a call to action for South Africans to continue building stronger, more compassionate communities throughout the year.
The Dynamic Life Changers Foundation expressed its heartfelt appreciation to every individual, family, organisation and volunteer who contributed to the success of the clothing drive. Their generosity will help restore dignity and provide much-needed support to vulnerable members of the community.
